Nashville Rapper LotisMusic’s Stop the Bullying Campaign is More of What We Need..

In addition to being a college graduate with a budding rap career, Lotis is a public speaker who works with the local middle schools in Nashville, Tennessee. Commercial success aside, Lotis’ personal identity and purpose have grown as well, inspired by his desire to make things better for the generation behind him. One particular cause stems directly from the real-life scars he received as a student in elementary school.

“When I was in the fifth grade, I got bullied in school. One Christmas my mom lost her job and all the kids came back with new clothes and Jordans. I remember being laughed at for having the same things I had the semester before, says Lotis.

Driven to give back, His Stop the Bullying campaign became a personal project that remained at the center of his heart, especially as a college student. Over the course of his time at TSU, Lotis visited several schools across the city, standing before the youth to deliver motivational words to kids who need to see a friendly face. More than just a rapper, Lotis is a role model.
