Jay Ammo's new singles, Parachute and Still Love, pack quite a punch.

Guyanese-born artist Jay Ammo has consistently released music since 2020 after serving a brief stint in the United States Army. His most recent songs and videos, “Parachute”, and “Still Love” help showcase his smooth and relatable style of music. In the case of Parachute, Jay brings the timely metaphor of falling in love with a person who doesn’t return the feelings to life while Still Love reflects on his love for a former flame whose since moved on.

Directed by country music talent, ElektroHorse, and produced by Mariduhkid, the songs and videos’ creative display helps provide visuals for the budding talent’s new music.

Jay’s bare vocals, honest emotion, and a slight barrage of bars help take the song feels up a notch. Although he hails from the islands, the songs do a great job of showcasing his ability to make music that deviates from the norm as he embraces a mix of sounds from both the R&B and pop music lane.
